A Garage Floor Finish Might Even Improve Your Mood
No, we're not talking about happy face tiling or anything, I promise. It's not all that hard to believe, if you think about it. Consider buying a nice, new car, and then parking it on boring old concrete as opposed to a nice, shiny garage flooring. I'm no psychologist, but I bet that on a list of the most depressing colors, gray is pretty high up. Also, consider the plethora of studies out there talking about how color affects our moods. Patterns can have a more complex effect. A car racing fan would probably love nothing more than to work on his car on a checkerboard garage floor tile. Working on a car can get pretty frustrating. You may as well let your garage floor help if it can.
